Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council propose to upgrade existing directional road signage and road markings on the Sandyford Rotary (M50 junction 14, West) and on the Drummartin Link Road from Monday, 13th August to Friday, 31st August 2012.
Works will resume within Sandyford Business Park as part of the scheme to upgrade pedestrian and cycle facilities between 8.00am and 6.00pm from Tuesday, 7th August to Sunday, 30th September 2012. The works will take place at the junction of Blackthorn Avenue at the Stillorgan Luas stop, Burton Hall Road/Blackthorn Road, Blackthorn Road/ Blackthorn Avenue. Traffic management and a Stop/Go system will be in operation.
Works around these junctions are ongoing, the Contractor is continuing to focus his resources on upgrading the junctions at Blackthorn Road / Burton Hall Road, Blackthorn Road / Blackthorn Avenue and on the new cycle / pedestrian crossing at the Stillorgan Luas stop during the month of August and early September, while the area is less busy due to the holiday period.
The path and cycle track between Ballymoss Road and the junction at the Stillorgan Luas Stop will be completed early next week, as will the new bus stop on Blackthorn Avenue. Reinstatement at the entrances to AIB and the Sandyford Business Centre will be completed on the afternoon of Friday 17th August 2012.
