MOGADISHU (Reuters) - Somali government forces attacked insurgent positions in the capital Mogadishu on Friday and at least five people were killed in the fighting, residents said.
Witnesses said four fighters from the hardline Islamist al Shabaab rebel group were killed and that a journalist from the local independent Shabelle Radio was also killed.
