Sage launches new platform for SMEs in Ireland

Sage Marketplace helps businesses take full control of their finances and enhance productivity...

Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, today announced the launch of a new Sage Marketplace in Ireland, which will enable Irish SMEs to gain control of their cashflow and operate more efficiently. With Sage Marketplace, businesses can now access a curated selection of more than 50 applications from Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that integrate with Sage Business Cloud.

The impact of COVID-19 on local businesses continues to be severe, and Sage Marketplace has been launched in Ireland to help SMEs leverage technology and streamline their processes where possible. By providing a platform for SMEs to improve productivity and efficiency, Sage’s aim is to ultimately help mitigate the impacts of the pandemic and help businesses survive and recover.

Barry Murphy, Managing Director, Sage Ireland, said: “In this current economic climate, SMEs are navigating a complex landscape of constant change and uncertainty, which has placed many stresses upon their operations and day-to-day running of their businesses. We know from our discussions with small businesses that they require support to operate as efficiently and productively as possible. Sage Marketplace provides this support by helping business owners take control of their financial operations without adding resources.”

The new partner-developed apps for Ireland include:

  • Satago - finance and cash management app for small businesses and accountants – integrates with SBCA.
  • A2X – Fully automated e-commerce accounting for Shopify. A2X streamlines back-office processes and unlocks new opportunities in e-commerce.
  • Sicon - the Sicon manufacturing solutions integrate seamlessly with Sage 200cloud and improve efficiencies and profitability of agile manufacturing organisations
  • Qmulus - Qnect 200 for Sage CRM is a realtime integration that links Sage CRM to Sage 200. It helps to increase efficiency and accuracy in the management of customers/suppliers, products and quotes/orders at an affordable cost.

Sinead McHale, CEO of Satago, Sage ISV said: “Late payments pose a real and present threat to businesses globally. Our tech aims to minimise bad debt and ensure faster payments, helping business to manage their cashflow more effectively. We’re delighted to launch in Ireland and look forward to driving digital innovation to more businesses at this critical time.

"SMEs are the backbone of the economy; their survival is vital for the communities where they operate and the families that rely on them. We’re committed to helping them get back in control of their finances and back to business.”

Delivered on the AppDirect platform, the Sage Business Cloud Marketplace gives more than two million active Sage customers globally access to hundreds of trusted apps, all tested and verified by Sage.

All Marketplace apps can be reviewed and rated by users, enabling customers to compare solutions, and make the right choice for their business.

The Sage Marketplace is also available in the UK, USA, Canada and France, and will be launching in additional regions throughout 2021.
