Cubic Telecom engages best practice security firm TISAX for 4th consecutive year

TISAX is an assessment and exchange mechanism established by the German Association of the Automotive Industry to identify trusted parties in the industry. TISAX was developed by the VDA to simplify the process of data exchange between manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive industry.

Chris Patterson, Cubic Telecom’s Information Security Manager said “TISAX allows us to benchmark ourselves against security best practice, but it also allows us to measure and improve our security maturity across all of the most important areas of Information Security. The unique aspect of TISAX is that it also allows us to share our results directly with other participants in a secure and streamlined manner. As we are now in our 4th year of TISAX, we have seen first-hand the benefits of aligning to and improving our maturity through it, we get to see the work and improvements made which provide assurance to our customers and ourselves that we are going in the right direction, and that security is highly important to Cubic.”

Operating its automotive solution across over 190 countries with over 10.5 million connected devices, Cubic Telecom prides itself on meeting all necessary regulatory requirements. The TISAX structure is an additional layer on top of Cubic’s already highly compliant framework.
