On Saturday October 29th and Sunday October 30th 2022 SAMHAIN, with its full cast of Weirdoes, Witches, Banshees and the Disco of Death is back home with its Haunted Walk in Marlay Park. Be prepared to be scared!!

Tickets will be available from dlrevents.eventbrite.ie for Saturday October 29th from 2pm on Saturday October 15th and for Sunday October 30th from 2pm on Sunday October 16th.

Tickets for Samhain will not be available before these dates.

Sharing is scaring, so get your group of six ghouls together and put on your most dire dress or sinister suit do your horrible hair and join us for this years Samhain. The Haunted Walk will be seventeen hundred metres of macabre and malevolent menaces guaranteed to make your Halloween a festival of fright.

We want to see you in your Halloween costumes but remember SAMHAIN is an outdoor event so warm clothing is recommended. The walk is approx. 1.7km long on a path suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

The 4.30pm walk on Saturday and 3.30pm walk on Sunday at Samhain will be tailored to suit people with special needs. This means that music and sound effects will be quieter, special effects and lighting will be softer and we will limit the number of visitors in comparison to other entry times in order to reduce queuing times in so far as is practicable.

Tickets are Free of Charge and each ticket admits up to 6 people which includes a child in a pram or carrier, available from dlrevents.eventbrite.ie

Tickets are not available on an individual basis.

Please arrive at the event together in your group of up to 6 people.

If you are a Disabled Parking Permit holder please let us know when ordering your ticket.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Event Parking is in the College Road Car Park of Marlay Park only
  • Please DO NOT park on Grange Road, in local estates or surrounding roads
  • The location of the start of Samhain and pedestrian routes to it are on the map here
  • Please follow the directions of event staff and stay on lighted pedestrian routes only
  • Samhain is an outdoor event so warm clothing is recommended.
  • The walk is approx. 1.7km long on a path suitable for buggies and wheelchairs
  • Assistance Dogs only are allowed on the walk route
  • No dogs or other animals are allowed on the walk route

There will be no fireworks display at the event

TRANSPORT
Please walk, cycle or use Public Transport to get to Samhain
Parking for the event in the College Road Car Park is very limited
Please do not park on the roads or in local estates.
The Grange Road Car Park will be closed from 2pm on Saturday October 23rd

ADMISSION

  • Please arrive at the event together in your group of up to 6 people.
  • Please do not arrive later than 30 minutes before your entry time.
  • When you arrive at Marlay Park please follow the signs and instructions from stewards.
  • Consumption of alcohol will not be permitted at the event or in surrounding areas.
  • Any visitor consuming alcohol will be refused entry, or may be asked to leave the area.

You can bring these to the event:

  • Items required for medical reasons
  • Water

You cannot bring these to the event:

  • Food or Alcohol
  • Glass of any kind
  • Large Bags (A4 size bags or smaller only please)
  • Cameras with detachable lens or recording equipment
  • Dogs or other animals except Assistance Dogs
