Prodigy Learning (Prodigy), which provides digital skills certifications, learning solutions and professional development for Microsoft and other technologies, has received the Microsoft Partner of the Year Award at Certiport’s 2018 Global Partner Summit in Orlando, Florida.
This Partner Award is presented by Microsoft annually to a partner for outstanding success in advancing Microsoft’s future ready skills solutions for education including the Microsoft certification programmes (MCE, MOS, MTA) that are delivered worldwide by Certiport.
This Award builds on Prodigy’s success of 2017 and 2016 when the Company was recognised as Certiport EMEA Partner of the Year and Certiport Global Partner of the Year respectively. Prodigy has worked closely with Microsoft since incorporation in 2000. The Company is a Microsoft Authorised Education Gold Partner, Cloud Solution Provider and Global Training Partner, supporting academic institutions with Microsoft Imagine Academy, Microsoft Certifications, Minecraft:Education Edition and other Microsoft Education solutions.
Prodigy has over 2,000 customers in the education, training, corporate and public sectors across Europe, Ireland, UK and most recently has successfully expanded into Australia. Prodigy’s extensive customer base includes top tier academic, commercial and public-sector employers, globally.
Customers range from secondary schools to prestigious universities such as London School of Economics and the University of St. Andrews, government bodies including the NHS in the UK and SOLAS in Ireland and corporate organisations including large professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
The fast growing, successful Prodigy Learning team work closely with these customers, supporting them on Prodigy pathways to meet their unique digital skills requirements. Highlights with Microsoft this year have included launching the Microsoft Australia National Skills Programme (which has already seen Microsoft certifications delivered to displaced auto sector workers in South Australia), Minecraft Education London (which will see Minecraft:Education Edition and Prodigy’s Coding in Minecraft credential rolled out in London schools) and the unique MOS Four Nations Championship (combining Office 365 and Minecraft:Education Edition to identify the students with the best digital skills in the UK & Ireland).
